Can you purchase skincare from Wigmore medical if you’re not a practitioner. Thank you
Hello yes you can – though with some of the skincare eg the ZO range you will first need to have a chat with one of their in-store advisers in order to pick out the best products for your skin
What were the final results from the neogen? Did the skin appear tighter and fo you recomend? I’m 42 and hoping 1 session could help with signs of aging now and help as I age
My pigmentation faded, skin texture was smoother, and pores were smaller. It did tighten my skin, especially on the lower face. Seven weeks post-treatment, my skin was looking great, rating nine years younger than my actual age on the Visia machine—five years younger than previous scan in April. You can watch my video on NeoGen Plasma linked in this article.
It took a couple more months for the fresh, remodelled collagen to show up, but in due course, it presented itself in the form of a gentle, overall tightening as if my face has been lightly shrink-wrapped, which meant the skin is firmer over my cheekbones and tighter along my jaw.
If you’re considering this treatment, I’d recommend a series of low-intensity sessions for the same results with minimal downtime. Speak to your practitioner about your goals and how many sessions it may take to get there.
Hello, Im 57 years old and have used many tweakments since I was 40. They are not longer working and I want to consider a face lift. Can you recommend a reputable surgeon in the UK ? For advice around which type to have . Thank you
The Tweakments Guide is all about non-surgical work, so I have very few cosmetic surgeons listed.
Take a look at the facebook page of Karen Perrett aka Surgeon Sourceress, these may be helpful as well as the The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons
how much for airscupting belly fat
Hi, pricing depends on practitioner experience and location, as well as the body areas you want to treat, but costs tend to start from £8,000. You can find out more on the AirSculpt website
How many mls of polynucleotides should be used for both face and neck please?? Thanks
Hi tweakments like polynucleotides is tailored from person to person so there is no set amount of mls. Your practitioner will recommend the right amount and strength based on your needs.
Feeling sick after Totally Derma

Best treatment for facial thread veins on chin and nose – female aged 59. No previous procedures of any kind used so far.
Hi, I have a page dedicated to thread veins linked here. You can also download my e-book with more tweakment options linked on the thread veins page.
Could you please tell me the best surgeon to go to for non invasive rhinoplasty ie fillers to straighten nose
Hi, I’m not sure where you’re based but you can find a practitioner near you who specialises in non-surgical rhinoplasty through our practitioner finder here. If you pop in your postcode results should come up. To narrow your choice down from there, go onto each practitioner’s website and look at examples of their work with lips and noses, to find someone who does a lot of the sort of work and gives the kind of results that you are looking for.
Here are a couple of practitioners I’d recommend:
I have read a few stories of people withe thinker faces experiencing loss of fat in the face after Morpheus 8 leaving them looking more gaunt and aged. I never read this on any clinics’ websites and multiple clinicians I’ve asked have said they have never seen this. Is this a real risk, I am 44 and do have a leaner face.
Hi, radiofrequency microneedling devices like Morpheus8 can cause accidental fat loss if used by a practitioner who does not have enough experience with the device.
Radiofrequency microneedling is mainly a skin-tightening tweakment designed to rejuvenate and tighten the skin, NOT target fat. The tiny needles create controlled micro-injuries, and the RF energy helps to tighten and rejuvenate the skin.
However, when the needles are set to go deeper, the RF energy can reach the fat layer beneath the skin, melting the fat intentionally.
It’s very important that you consult an experienced practitioner – you can find one through our practitioner finder . Make sure during your consultation, you’ve had a chat about the results you’re hoping to achieve and any concerns you may have.
You can also read more about how RF microneedling can melt fat in my article linked here – Will RF needling melt the fat in my face?
Hi. I’ve just been reading about the LYMA tool. Thoughts on its effectiveness and value? Thanks so much
Hello! You can find Alice’s thoughts on the Lyma Laser via Ask Alice linked here.
Please could you confirm the address details for Dr Ward’s London Clinic for Neogen treatment thank you
Hi, are you referring to Dr Johanna Ward? She can be found at the The Cosmetic Skin Clinic.
I’m getting Botox on my forehead and neck soon and I want to know if using my microcurrent device might counteract the effects of it if I continue to use it?
Hi, great question – and though you’d think that microcurrent would work against toxin, it actually works really well with toxin as it helps to keep the tone and circulation in the more superficial muscles on the brow while the toxin is doing its work relaxing the strength of the deeper muscles where it was injected. I wouldn’t use it for a few days after treatment (the brands will say leave it two weeks), but after that, carry on.
Will nuface mini work on toning my arms
In a word: no. Exercises to work out the muscles are what will help
exactly what type of MRI do you need to detect if it is filler causing lumps and swelling in my eye? I had fat repositioning an injections a few months ago I have lump and swellingness
Hi, you want to find a clinical radiologist with expertise in interpreting MRI imaging for dermal fillers. I saw Dr Simon Morley, who has considerable expertise in this area, for this via a private clinic on Harley Street.
A simpler way to start would be to find an aesthetic practitioner who uses hand-held ultrasound which can show where the lump of filler is sitting below the skin.
Please can you advice, why is the best collegen to take, I’m 47 years young
Hi, I’m a fan of Totally Derma which is very good though I appreciate it is a pricey one. There are so many to choose from; what you want is a product that gives you 10,000mg of hydrolysed collagen per daily dose, and you need to take it consistently for three months in order to be able to get an idea of what it is doing for your skin/ hair/ nails/ joints. Here’s a link to some of the videos and articles I’ve done about collagen supplements.
