What is the Byonik Pulse Triggered Laser?

Byonik is a smart laser system (in fact the original smart laser system), which adapts to your body in real time to supercharge the effects of the treatment.

Using patented pulse-triggered technology, the laser synchronises with your heart rate to optimise how energy is absorbed by the skin. This means every pulse is delivered at the moment your cells are most receptive, improving biological efficiency while avoiding unnecessary stress or trauma.

Byonik achieves impressive results on highly-compromised, inflamed skin – and there’s not usually all that much you can do in the way of devices if your skin is in that sort of state. Is Byonik a laser?

Yes, however unlike other heat-based lasers, the Byonik is a cold low-level laser of high intensity, commonly known as LLLT. That means it is non-invasive, doesn’t cause peeling of the skin, and has no risk of scarring, pigmentary changes or infection. It is also safe and effective for every skin type, without downtime and is pain free. In fact, it is a suitable laser option all year round and even throughout pregnancy.

How does Byonik work alongside other treatments?

Can I have Byonik if I have acne?

Absolutely. It’s one of only a handful of treatments that can be done on skin with active acne, even if it’s cystic. In fact, the device does have a significant clearing effect on acne and can be used safely alongside topical or oral prescription acne medicine like isotretinoin to reduce side effects like photosensitivity, redness and irritation.

Can I have Byonik if I have an inflammatory skin condition?

How often should you get a Byonik treatment?
