From the award-winning eye cream for fine lines to the redness-reducing serum that soothed our contributing editor’s rosacea-prone flushes, Meder Beauty is a trailblazing skincare brand founded by the leading dermatologist, Dr Tiina Meder.

The brand embodies a no-nonsense scientific approach to skincare, with a firm belief that you don’t need ‘no pain, no gain’ beauty to see results – so much so that all the products are deemed pregnancy-safe.

The USP: products that work with (rather than against) your skin to protect and treat signs of ageing, such as fine lines, hyperpigmentation and inflammation. That means that all the formulas are skin microbiome-friendly and suitable for all ages and skin types, helping you treat your key skin goals without potentially irritating ingredients such as retinoids and exfoliating acids.

Who is the founder of Meder Beauty?

The founder of Meder Beauty, Dr Tiina Meder certainly knows a thing or two about skin health. After beginning her medical career in 1995 as a cardiologist specialising in treating pregnant women with heart conditions, she later transitioned to dermatology, focusing on pregnancy-safe methods. She launched Meder Beauty in 2009.

What are the benefits of Meder Beauty?

We love that Meder Beauty focuses on ensuring you never have to compromise on results or skin quality in the quest to meet your skin goals. After all, it’s not often that you see a results-driven, scientifically backed brand for wrinkles and pigmentation hat can also claim to be safe for use during pregnancy and for very sensitive skin.

The emphasis on microbiome-friendly formulations means that alongside your core skin goals, such as reducing fine lines and treating dryness, you can also notice an improvement in your skin’s overall balance and resilience too. That’s why it’s become such a top recommendation here at TTG for helping prep and protect your skin alongside your tweakment journey.

What is Meder Beauty’s ethos?

Dr Meder’s aim is to bridge the gap between clinical dermatology and luxury skincare, providing products that are not only scientifically backed but also enjoyable to use.

The first product she launched was Myo-Fix, a sheet mask-like treatment for frown lines, followed by a prebiotic-based acne programme called Eu-Seb. Now there is a full range of skincare innovations for face and body, including the ‘biohacking’ formula Lumino-Dermo for brightening skin.

All the formulas combine the latest advances in skincare science with a deep understanding of the delicate skin microbiome, to address a variety of concerns, such as ageing, pigmentation, sensitivity, and dryness.

The brand is a darling of the professional skincare industry too, with the products recommended through dermatologists, aestheticians, and other skincare specialists (as well as here on TTG).

Founder, The Tweakments Guide

We especially love Meder Beauty here at The Tweakments Guide because the best-sellers are amazing for pre-and-post treatment, helping protect your skin against side effects and working in conjunction with your tweaks to give you the best skin possible. If you are pregnant and unable to have your normal injectable treatments, Meder Beauty has many a solution. The Myo-Fix treatment for mimic-wrinkles was even specifically designed an alternative for pregnant women who could not have wrinkle-relaxing injections.

What are the hero ingredients in the Meder Beauty range?

Instead of leading with potentially aggressive retinoids and exfoliating acids, Meder Beauty is powered by skin-boosting prebiotics, probiotics, peptides, and epigenetic ingredients. Here’s a quick summary of why they can be great for your skin.

Prebiotics: ingredients that act as the ‘food’ for your skin’s natural ‘good’ bacteria, ensuring a balanced skin microbiome

Probiotics: live or fermented bacteria that ‘top up’ your skin’s ‘good bacteria, to improve your overall skin health

Peptides: short chains of amino acids that help your skin rejuvenate itself by stimulating collagen production for a more youthful-looking complexion

Epigenetic ingredients: stimulate your skin cells to act in a certain way, in order to improve skin barrier function, moisture levels and the syntheses of collagen and elastin

What are the best-selling Meder Beauty products and why?

For wrinkles: Myo-Fix Mask, £70, SHOP NOW

A ‘No-Tox’ solution for anyone who can’t or doesn’t want to try injectables or retinoids, this line-targeting face mask is brilliant before big events. It instantly, if not permanently, plumps out dehydration lines, and you just have to apply and relax for 20 minutes.

For the eyes: Blepharo-Rich Eye Cream, £51, SHOP NOW

The skin around your eyes is delicate, and this eye cream keeps that firmly in mind while still smoothing away fine lines and dryness. Instantly moisturising with its blend of plant-based squalene, peptides and probiotics, it also absorbs super quickly so doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on your skin.

For acne: Eu-Seb Prebiotic Anti-Acne Concentrate, £89, SHOP NOW

Don’t fight your breakouts—solve them at their source with this concentrate. Specifically for oily and inflamed skin, it reduces blackheads, greasiness, and the presence of breakout-causing C.acnes bacteria with rebalancing prebiotics, not harsh, stripping formulas.

For redness: Red-Apax Anti-Redness Concentrate, £90, SHOP NOW

A must-try for anyone struggling with redness and irritation, especially those with rosacea-prone or menopausal skin. The secret to its editor-backed soothing powers? A blend of pre-and-probiotics and skin cell-signalling ingredients that make your complexion less reactive over time.

For brightening: Lumino-Derm Skin Brightening Cream, £145

This calming cream enhances your skin’s resilience to sun exposure, hormonal imbalance, and stress – key contributors to pigmentation or sun spots. It contains a potent blend of pigment-reducing peptides, soothing prebiotics and brightening tranexamic acid, liquorice extract and amino acids. No harsh exfoliators in sight.

How can Meder Beauty help you build a successful skincare routine?

All Meder Beauty products contain a number on their packaging (ranging from one to eight). This indicates the order they should be applied – although the brand does not suggest you necessarily need all eight steps! It is more of a guide to help you slot your chosen formulas easily into your routine.

  1. Cleansers: Begin with a cleansing mask to wash your face in the morning and at night.
  2. Exfoliation: If required, use the Enzy-Peel exfoliating mask once or twice a week.
  3. Serums: Apply antioxidant serums daily after washing your face.
  4. Active Care Serums: address specific skin concerns with a targeted serum
  5. Sheet Masks: Use once a week or as desired, following serums.
  6. Face Oils and Creams: If required, apply Vita-Long Oil or Derma-Fill Cream after active care serums.
  7. Face Creams and Eye Care: Conclude your routine with face creams and eye care.
  8. Hand and Body Care: Extend your skincare to include hand and body care should you wish.
